Restore your MIDI setting If you switched to Debug Mode for this update, switch MIDI Settings back in the PlantWave app.

Re-pair Bluetooth once Forget the PlantWave in your phone's Bluetooth settings, then pair again. The new firmware resets its pairing keys.

My computer asked to let Chrome use Bluetooth

That prompt comes from Chrome itself, not this page: Chrome lists Bluetooth serial ports alongside USB ones, and macOS asks before it may look. You can safely choose Don't Allow; updating over USB works either way.

The update failed partway

It is safe to retry: every step is verified before your PlantWave restarts. Unplug the device, plug it back in, and go through the steps again.
